15th EERRI Research Reactor Group Fellowship Training Course
Reactor VR-1 participated in EERRI Research Reactor Group Fellowship Training Course. This course is organized by the Eastern European Research Reactor Initiative (EERRI), in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. It is targeted to young professionals and addresses all aspects connected to research reactors. The course is carried out under the guidance of 4 EERRI partners: Atominstitut of the Vienna University of Technology; Czech Technical University in Prague; Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia; and Nuclear Research Institute of Rez, Czech Republic. Participants of the course spent 1 week at the VR-1 reactor and underwent theoretical lectures and practical exercises focused on basics of radiation protection and dosimetry, thermohydraulics, neutron activation analysis and control of the reactor.
